Eulogy:
Reynolds Bello was a beloved son and brother. Bello was shot in the shoulder while on foot in battle. As part of the 507th Parachute Infantry being on foot was common and very dangerous but Bello never backed down from the challenge. He was survived by his siblings, his father, Frank Bello and his mother Clara Bello who was his choice to pick his final resting place. He is buried in Normandy Cemetery in France along with his other brothers in arms. He served his country with honor and courage that will never be forgotten!

Normandy Statistics: First established on June 8th, 1944 originally as a temporary cemetery by the name of St. Laurent, Normandy was the first American cemetery on European soil in WWII. The cemetery contains the graves of 9,386 of military service members who lost their lives during D-Day landings and ensuing operations. Those who were not found have their names written on a wall where there are 1,557 names. Rosettes mark those who were missing and have been found. Normandy covers 172.5 acres and is located in Colleville-sur-Mer
